243335 Pte. Michael Levy British Army Royal Army Medical Corps from:London My father Michael Levy from London, was in the RAMC and was attached to the 8th Army in North Africa. His Commanding Officer was Montgomery at the Battle of El Alamein. He was also stationed in Burma in November 1944, East of the Brahmaputra and was attached to the 51st Indian Field Ambulance. He had a tattoo of a Sphynx on one of his arms. After service, he went back to being a barber. He married during the war and passed away in December 1979. If anyone has any information about any of the campaigns that he would have been in or if anyone remembers such a name I would love to hear about it.
