Eric Faulkner was my great uncle, I never met him as he died before I was born. The brother of my beloved grandmother Ellen Tomkins (nee Faulkner). He died during Operation Charnwood the assault on Caen in Normandy. He is buried in Bayeux Memorial graveyard. I don't know any more than this but would love to find out more.
