Squadron Leader William Clarke was the son of George Alfred and Tallulah Clarke, husband of Winefride Mary Clarke of New Milton, Hampshire.
He was aged 32 when he died and is buried in the Benschop General Cemetery, Utrecht, The Netherlands.
