Florence Evelyn "Fluffy" Bye Auxilliary Territorial Service from:Hackney, London My mother Florence Bye worked for the Auxilliary Territorial Service at the Northfield Psychiatric Hospital in Birmingham during WW2. She was a clerk and responsible for admitting and discharging patients, although from what she says, she spent a lot of time drinking tea with the patients. She loved her time in the ATS and still speaks about it even though she is now 96.
