Leading Aircraftman John Hadley was the Son of Charles John Hadley, and of Ellen Hadley (nee Hawke), of Christchurch, Canterbury. He was 22 when his plane crashed. He is buried in the Balcairn Cemetery, in the Hurunui District of New Zealand.
