(d.26th November 1943)

Pilot Officer W. J. Morgan was the flight engineer in LK687 Halifax V, from 76 squadron based at Holme on Spalding Moor. The plane was shot down on a raid to Stuttgart at 17.01hrs on 26th November 1943 and crashed at Retzbach. The Pilot and rear gunner both died and are buried at Durnbach War Cemetery, the remaining 5 crew members were captured and became Prisoners of War.
