Raymond Harold George Steel British Army Royal Army Ordnance Corps from:Pen Selwood (d.7th June 1942) Raymond Steel is buried in St Michael's churchyard, Pen Selwood, Nr Wincanton, Somerset. His name also appears on the Pen Selwood War Memorial. Ray's parents ran the village shop in Pen Selwood for a number of years before moving to Totton, Hants. He died 7th of June 1942 aged 25 but the story leading to his death is unknown in the village.
