Sgt. Fred Simpson
British Army 146th Field Ambulance Royal Army Medical Corps
from:Leeds
My grandfather Fred Simpson was in 146 Field Ambulance as a territorial in 1937 and went to war with them. The 4 tapes held by the Imperial War Museum give an amazing amount of details of 146th's first few years of the war. He served at the 30th General Hospital in Britain and Iceland and also 32nd Casualty Clearing Station.
