247305 Sgt Frederick James Rhys "Black Taff" Megicks British Army 925A Section, 2nd Armoured Brigade Royal Army Service Corps from:Derry Ormond, Lampeter, Cardiganshire Frederick Megicks served with 2nd Armoured Brigade. I don't know much about my father's military service during WW2 as he wouldn't talk a lot about it. I do know he was in Africa with the RASC then onto Italy, ending up in Trieste at the end of the war. He used to do runs from there to Austria after the war, presumably to resupply British troops stationed there. He married an Italian woman and left the Army sometime in 1946.
