247388 Sub/Lt. Vyvyan Howard Kelsey Royal Navy HMS Talbot from:8 Swanston Avenue (d.27th Feb 1942) My Aunt, Margaret Lewin, was engaged to Vyvyan Kelsey. She would have been 12 days short of her 20th birthday when he died. Despite being quite beautiful, she never married. I never knew of her engagement or relationship until after her death in 2011. When I used to ask her why she never married, she would fob me off with some story along the lines of "Oh well, it just never happened". A small tragedy in one of the worst times in human history.
