George Henry Wilde Shaw British Army 57th Anti Tank Regiment Royal Artillery from:Gateshead (d.25th Jun 1945) George Shaw served with 57th Anti Tank Regiment, Royal Artillery, we only know he died waiting for his ship home in Italy and had banged his head on the bottom whilst diving and died. I believe there is a grave in Trieste for him. Any photos, information or memories would be most welcome for a family history project.
