My father Alexander Walker was in the Glasgow police at Maryhill when the war started.
He joined the R.A.F. in 1942 and trained in Canada. Spent time in Dafoe,
Sask. where he met my mother. He was a navigator and bombaimer in Wellingtons
then into Lancasters in Waterbeach with 514 Squadron from 1944 to 1945.
