Edwin Falla (Ted) was a Guernseyman who served in the Guernsey Malitia. A regimental picture from 1938 hangs in the Guernsey Museum.
He left the Island just before the German Army invaded. He joined up and was put into a holding unit (7th Devons). He then joined the 43rd Wessex Recce Regiment and served the rest of the war with this unit until it was disbanded. He was a dispatch rider/gunner.
