Sgt. B. "Spud" Ash
British Army 2nd Btn. Lincolnshire Regiment
from:Staffordshire
From what I know about my grandfather, Sgt B. Ash, from my mum and what I researched he was with the 2nd Lincs. He fought in Belgium. He was evacuated from Dunkirk. He was at Sword Beach in the Normandy Landings. He fought through through the Low Countries into Germany. He went into Bergen-Belsen and ended the war in Bremen, between that time he was wounded in Belgium.
