She was attached to fighter command as a plotter and also involved in code & cypher and radar and was sent to various fighter stations including Middle Wallop in Hampshire. now lives in Perth, Western Australia and will be 100 on October 13th. Her birth date was 13th October 1918. After the war, mum sailed to Africa and lived in Tanzania and Kenya for the next 22 years before emigrating to Australia in 1968. She is in good health and now lives in a nursing home in Perth.
