WO. John Walton Gregory

from:Ewell, Surrey
My father, John Gregory joined the Royal Engineers in September 1942 as a Sapper. He was then in 718th AW Coy at Aldershot as a Lance Corporal, and subsequently based at Penrith (I believe) before following the Allied invasion through Caen. He ended up in Brussels as Warrant Officer in charge of Bailey bridging stores. He was demobbed in May 1946.
