249989 Sgt. Andrew John Mitchell Royal Air Force 624 Squadron from:Aberdeen (d.27th April 1944) My mother's cousin, Andrew Mitchell was the only son of Mr and Mrs Andrew S Mitchell of Aberdeen. He was a crew member on Halifax JN960. Sadly the flight failed to return from operations and Andrew John lost his life, age 19. His name is on the Malta Memorial.
