Gnr. Thomas John William Harrison

British Army 260th Field Regiment Royal Artillery

from:Hull

My father Thomas Harrison gave himself an extra year and joined up in 1939. He was evacuated from Dunkirk when he was 18 and was also posted to North Africa and was at Monte Cassino. He didn't talk about his experience too much but I know they were both life changing and painful. His 3 daughters, sons-in-law and grandchildren are very proud of him. he passed away at the grand old age of 89. We miss him.
