Rflmn James Percy Whitworth
British Army 9th Battalion Cameronians (Scottish Rifles)
from:Birmingham
(d.22nd February 1945)
James Whitworth was my uncle. The family was devastated when he was killed. He left a widow with two small sons.
Over the years my mother and aunt told us so many lovely stories of Uncle Jim. I was only seven when he died yet I feel I have always known him from the stories.
He is buried in Reichswald Forest War Cemetery which, I believe, is in Germany.
