Raymond Hill was the son of Charles and Mary Hill of Chapel St. Leonards in Lincolnshire.
He was one of three cousins who served and died in WWII. Believed to have died when a grenade went off in his hand in Sicily. He was buried at Syracuse War Cemetery, Sicily.
