Coryndon Luxmoore was the second son of Lord Justice Sir Arthur Luxmoore P.C., K.C., J.P., B.A. and Lady Luxmoore of Bilsington Priory Estate, near Ashford, Kent.
He is buried Le Grand-Luce War Cemetery, Sarthe, France and is commemorated on the family grave site in Bilsington church.
Coryndon was mortally wounded by enemy shelling at St Remy, France on 7th of June 1940, he died of his wounds on the 11th.
