George H. Thomas
US Army Signal Corps
from:Seymour, Tennessee
George Thomas was the son of James Wilson Thomas (an Army veteran from East Tennessee) and Agnes Sullivan (an Irish American from New York).
He and his brothers joined the military during World War 2.
He didn't talk much about his POW experiences at Osaka Main Camp Chikko Osaka 34-135. We know he lost some fingers while in captivity. He was bitter towards the Japanese following the war.
