253856 Cpl. George A. Laycock Royal Air Force from:Bristol (d.1940) I did not know my Grandad, George Laycock. He died in WW2, as I was told by my mother, in 1940 the year my mum was born. His last three numbers are 490 as mine are except I am an Ex Welsh Guardsman. I am aware that he is not listed under the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, but may have been buried by my Nan, as many families have done this.
