Bmbdr. William George Sully
British Army 1st Maritime Regiment Royal Artillery

During his war service William Sully was on convoys to and from Canada, Bermuda and West Africa and gained the Atlantic Star. While stationed in Lochwinnoch, he met and married a local lass.
He also gained recognition for his aircraft spotting skills and was stationed in or near Henley for part of his service. He was on HMS Empire Crossbow at D-day.
