John Robert Tyerman

British Army

from:Middlesbrough

Jack Tyerman was my Great Uncle, brother of my Grandfather Harold and sister Margaret (Peggy) Tyerman. I only have images of Jack with his regiment, Group photos that were captured at Stalag XX-B. I know nothing of his life, which is a terrible shame. He was a POW at Stalag XXB from an early date in the war. One letter is dated Wednesday 22nd of October 1941 and one is for 14th of March 1944. Life was upbeat in the early years and towards the end it was dire, bored, depressed.

Jack Tyerman is marked X and info on back of photo is 328
