Sergeant Colin Menzies is buried in Courcelles-les-Gisors, Oise, France He was a Bomber Aimer with 76 Squadron, aged 29. Son of Thomas B. Menzies and Catherine Menzies, husband of Jean Lawson Menzies of Kirkcudbright. The inscription on his headstone reads, To all who strive faithfully in this life death is the gateway to sunshine.
