Gnr. John Skelton

British Army 22nd Field Regiment Royal Artillery

from:Halifax, Yorkshire

My father, John Skelton, served with the 22nd Field Regiment, Royal Artillery in WW2. I understand he was badly injured in Greece and evacuated via Pireus then Barry and Milan in Italy and then on to the UK where he was admitted to a hospital in Cardiff. That's all I know. It may be a long shot I know, but I think he was acting as Infantry with 4th Division possibly in Northern Greece, Salonika? Any information most gratefully received, I am trying to find out what happened.
