F/O. Harold Willam Walker DFC.
Royal Air Force 428 (Ghost) Squadron
My dad, Harry Walker, in an article I found in his log book after he passed away in 1992, flew 33 missions. I think the story should be told. His rear gunner was first in a bomber to shoot down a M163 the first type of German jet fighter. I found the newspaper article in his log book after he passed away. He never spoke of the War unless he was drunk and in a bad mode.
