Dvr Colin Lowthrop
British Army 61st Air Supply Royal Army Service Corps
Colin Lowthrop was part of a group of 12 Royal Army Service Corps personel who joined the second Chindit campaign in Burma. Colin was a member of 61st Air Supply RASC in WW2.
He wrote a piece for his old school magazine describing a heavy raid by eight Japanese dive bombers. Four, possibly five, shot down and no British casualties. Photographs available.
