Warrent Officer Class 11 Henry Knott saw service in North Africa, May 1941 - May 1943 including the battles of Tobruk and Alamain and in Tunis.
June 1943 - June 1944 he was in Sicily and Italy
1944 - 1945 he was a Sergeant Major "Desert Rats" at Catterick Garrison.
He was awarded a MBE in the 1961 New Year's Honours List.
