William Warne, served with the 6th Battalion, Seaforth Highlanders. He was killed crossing the Garigliano River on the 18th of January 1944, and is buried in the Minturno War Cemetery.
He received the following decorations: War Medal; Defence Medal; African Star; Italian Star; 1939-45 Star.
