260367 Pte Harold Fores British Army 2nd Btn. Sherwood Foresters from:Worksop (d.17th May 1940) Harold Fores was the partner of my grandmother. I believe they lived in the Worksop area. My gran was 17 at the time of his death. I'm told he was killed in action due to multiple shrapnel wounds through the back and stomach on the 17th May 1940.
