Tom Brown was stationed at RAF Wick from 1941 to 1943. He was a wireless operator with Coastal Command. While at Wick he met WAAF Margaret Alice Hay Carr, whom Tom subsequently married in April 1942. Toward the end of 1943, he was posted to Burma.
He returned from Burma in 1945, ending his service as a sergeant.
