Arthur William Hall
Canadian Army
from:Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada
I went with my parents to Union Station in Saint John to meet the train in 1945, and can still see the returning soldiers waving out the windows of the train. So much excitement. I was ten years old. William Hall was my father's brother. He brought me back wooden shoes from Holland.
He died in the Veteran's Hospital, Sunny Brook in Toronto, at an advanced age.
