Reginald Brown served in the Second World War. At some time he was in Egypt, Italy, Germany, France and Holland. He was a member of the Eighth Army and met Montgomery whilst serving in the desert.
He was in 30 Corps and took part in the event that was to become the film, A Bridge Too Far.
