L/Sgt. Andrew John Turner
British Army 88th Field Regiment Royal Artillery
from:Clerkenwell, London
John Turner was my uncle.
He served in the 88th Field Artillery and was captured on 17th February 1942 and was taken to a prisoner of war camp. He never talked about his experiences but I know that upon his return he would never let family members (even his wife) see him without clothes on because of his injuries and scars. I would appreciate any further information.
