Sea. Peter Howden
Royal Navy HMS Blean
(d.11th Dec 1942)
My mother's cousin Peter Howden was nineteen and an ordinary seaman. His parents, Reginald Drury Howden and Doris Howden [nee Binks], lived in Leeds. He died when HMS Blean sank after being torpedoed by a U-boat while serving on convoy duty in the Western Mediterranean.
