Gnr. Alfred William Jeffs

Royal Navy HMS Foxhound

Fred Jeffs served as gun layer and spent much time on HMS Foxhound in Eastern Command but was either on Kasmir or Kelly when they were sunk May 1941. He was with Mountbatten's survivors in Alex. He attended Kelly reunions after the war and went with Lord Louis to shoot at Bisley. He was greeted by L/L "Hello Fred, how are your two boys?" He is photographed at his forward 4.6 on the Foxhound Wiki site.
