Mervyn Waldron Johnson Royal Navy HMS Europa from:Teignmouth, Devon (d.16th Oct 1940) Ordinary Seaman Mervyn Johnson of the Royal Naval Patrol Service, HMS Europa. was the son of Albert Edward and Alice Johnson (née Medland) of Teignmouth, and husband of Rose Edith Johnson (née Cull) of Higher Blagdon, nr. Paignton. He was born in Dawlish in the June Quarter of 1906 and was killed on 16th of October 1940, aged 34. He is buried in Teignmouth Cemetery.
