My father Abraham Scholtz was part of the 2nd Infantry Division during WW2. They were captured by the Germans at Tobruk and taken to the Moosburg Stalag PoW camp. He and some others escaped and were hiding near Valinfreda in the Italian mountains until the end of the war.
