Dad, Douglas Stewart served throughout the war. As a territorial he was already enlisted at the start of the war and saw service in the B.E.F. He saw action in Belgium and was evacuated from Dunkirk. From there he saw service in North Africa and then went on to serve in Italy. He was very proud of his connection with the Gordon Highlanders.
