Pte. William Berry

British Army 4th Btn. Cameron Highlanders

from:Buckhaven, Fife

Certificate

Since it's the anniversary of VE Day I thought I'd share with everyone. William Berry was in the 4th Battalion, Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders. He fought in Dunkirk and ended up being a prisoner of war when he was captured in France on 5th of June 1940. Sadly, he isn’t with us any more but he is the definition of bravery and I am so proud to say he was my grandad
