Albert Thomas Howles was my father. According to his certificate of service he was on HMS Pembroke 2nd of October 1943 to 23rd of January 1944, as an ordinary seaman and then returned 25th May 1944 to 14th of November 1944 and as an able seaman. Unfortunately my father is no longer with us and I do not have any stories to tell. Wish I had encouraged him to talk about his navy days. HMS Boscawen (Blyth) and HMS Ocean.
