My Dad, Henry Rosendale was a gunner with 428th Bomb Squadron, 310th Bomb Group. The crew were 2Lt W E Stanford, 2ndLt C P Fancsali, 1stLt B Barthmair, S/Sgt H F Rosendale, Sgt R H Rauschkolb and Cpl M L Silverman. Dads absolute best buddy during the War was Dick Rauschkolb. Dad and Dick were born 4 days apart in 1922. Dad was just 21 when him and crew flew their B-25 'Stormy Weather' from Florida to North Africa. The pilot was the oldest he was 23. In these pictures Dad and Dick were 22, already seasoned.
