My father, Roy William Brown was assigned to No.3 Wireless School in Winnipeg on 12th of January 1941. He was not there for any Wireless Air Gunner training, rather, he was undoubtedly there as an administration person. He was there until 7th of June 1943, at which time he was shipped overseas to RCAF HQ in Topcliffe, England.
