501094 Richard John Hunter British Army Irish Guard My father, Richard John Hunter, was a POW at Stalag 7a. He was in the Irish Guards and was taken prisoner at Anzio on the beach head. He was one of very few to survive, and this was probably because he was strong enough to dig graves for which he was given extra food.
